Friday, November 24th is #BlackFriday.
Some of you friends will post videos of people at Wal-Mart and Best Buy being trampled in lieu of Star Wars toys, video game systems, and Barbie dolls; and people commenting on those videos accuse a "once great nation of having fallen so far."
Some of you might find great deals on Amazon and wonder why anyone leaves their homes at all, then wonder if you are spending too much time inside, then promptly dismiss that thought and get another Keurig cup of coffee.
You'll see, on the news, the rate of product consumption from last year to this year and people making assumptions of what this means for the economic forecast. You'll pay the same half-hearted attention to the same media rigamarole as last year, and the year before.
This only means all is right in the universe. You can bitch or you can start a revolution. Please don't bitch this year.
(Can we still say "bitch" when referring to a complaint? Is that no longer pc?)
