My Life = Video Game

I guess it’s not really a surprise that the first painting I am commissioned to do here in Montreal is following when I put my Super Mario World based “Yoshi Coin” painting into an envelope. It’s not surprising that the wall we’ve simulated the painting to be on is outlined in paper, making it look like a giant dotted outline, as  if a question box that has to be filled by a POW switch.

I’m working on turning my life into a video game; it’s been slow-going… almost three years in the making. The idea of perceiving life based on computer-simulated mythology is something every boy dreams about. Erick Stow is living the dream. It’s just another level to what I’m working on; another way to get work.
